Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is delighted and the reason will make you happy too. Mr Bachchan is elated that women are working harder than the men on sets of Thugs Of Hindostan. Big B, who will also feature in the film is glad to see women working hard and wrote: "A great delight to find so many women on set working harder than the men, in a job which one could never have dreamt about in our times." The 74-year-old actor, who is currently hosting the 9th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati, is often seen advicing and motivating women contestants on the show. Amitabh Bachchan also updated his fans and followers about the film on his blog.
Big B wrote: "The progress on Thugs Of Hindostan continues unabated and there is much to be written about, but confidentiality coerces me to preclude you to such observations and so the silence outside, but inside it is a loud and active audience working on the film in various degrees and folds."
Thugs Of Hindostan - directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, features actors Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. It also stars Fatima Sana Sheikh, who received great appreciation for her role as Geeta Phogat in blockbuster hit Dangal.
Thugs Of Hindostan is an adaptation of 1839's novel titled Confessions of a Thug.
Of Thugs Of Hindostan, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, who will also feature in the film, told news agency PTI that it is a classic story and a grand period film. He said, "Thugs Of Hindostan is not a conventional glossy film, though it is very commercial. It has a story to tell, it has complexes and plot points like a good classic and still they are trying new things which make the project interesting."
Katrina Kaif, who will feature in Thugs Of Hindostan, is all set for her upcoming Tiger Zinda Hai, co-starring Salman Khan while Aamir Khan has Secret Superstar in the pipeline.
Thugs Of Hindostan is currently scheduled to release next year.
