Manoj Bajpayee in a still from Aligarh.
Mumbai:
Gangs of Wasseypur director Anurag Kashyap said that everyone should watch Aligarh, especially those roaming around with flags of morality.
"Everyone should watch this film. Especially those, who roam around carrying flags of morality," said Mr Kashyap.
"Everyone's work is marvellous. This film is on a different level altogether. Manoj Bajpayee has reached an incredible level in this film. It is such a wonderful film", he added.
The Hansal Mehta-directed Aligarh is based on the life of Professor Shrinivas Ramchandra Siras, who was suspended from his job because of his sexual orientation.
Manoj plays the role of Siras, and Rajkummar Rao plays a journalist, who tells Siras' story to the world.
"It is the best performance of Manoj Bajpayee ever. I am still reeling due to his performance. I can't talk enough about it," said Mr Kashyap. (Also Read: Aligarh Director: Hoarding Signs Doesn't Mean That a Film is Good)
