What inspired Vir Das to become an actor
Vir currently has six projects in his kitty.
Mumbai: Stand-up comedian Vir Das was so impressed with filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's film Rang De Basanti that he decided to take up acting.

"For me, it is very important to believe in the kind of movies I do. Rang De Basanti made me feel good about Indian cinema. The movie instilled in me, a confidence so strong, that I wanted to be a part of the revolution in Bollywood," said Vir.

The 2006 film had Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Siddharth, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Kapoor, Atul Kulkarni and British actress Alice Patten in the lead roles.

Meanwhile, Vir currently has six releases in his hands with projects such as Santa Banta, Amit Sahni Ki List and Saxxx ki Dukaan among others.
