Jackie Shroff recently reacted to rumours about Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani's break-up. The duo, however, has never admitted to being in a relationship and has been "just friends." In an interview with Bombay Times, Jackie Shroff was asked about Tiger and Disha's break-up rumours and he said, "They (Tiger and Disha) have always been friends and are still friends. I have seen them go out together. Not that I keep track of my son's love life. That's the last thing I want to do, like infringe on their privacy. But I feel that they are thick buddies. They spend time with each other besides work."
He added that the Shroff family shares a great bond with Disha. "See, it is up to them whether they are together or not, whether they are compatible (with each other) or not. It is their love story, like me and my wife (Ayesha) have our love story. We share a good equation with Disha. And like I said, they are happy together like they meet, talk etc," he said.
Disha and Tiger worked together in Baaghi 2 . Jackie Shroff, too, worked with Disha in Salman Khan's Radhe - Your Most Wanted Bhai.
Earlier this year, on Tiger's birthday, Disha posted a zoomed-in video of the Heropanti actor and wrote: "Happiest b'day my best friend. Thank you for inspiring millions of us with your hardwork and most beautiful soul. You're beautiful."
On Disha's birthday last month, Tiger's mom Ayesha Shroff shared photos with the actress. Her caption read: "Happppppiest birthday disheshwar!! Wish you the best year ahead!"
Last year, on Disha's birthday, Tiger posted a cute video with her and wrote: "Happy birthday villain."
On the work front, Disha will feature in Ek Villain Returns with Arjun Kapoor, John Abraham and Tara Sutaria. Tiger has Ganapath with Kriti Sanon in his professional line-up.
