On Thursday superstar Rajinikanth announced that he would do a 3D movie, Kochadaiyan, postponing the much-hyped historical drama, Rana, once again.
Rajinikanth has largely been out of the public eye since he returned to Chennai a few months ago after treatment in Singapore.
So what's keeping the superstar busy these days? Just like another superstar and good friend Amitabh Bachchan who is on grandfather duty, so is Rajinikanth.
His elder daughter Aishwarya Dhanush is busy on the sets directing her first movie 3, while the Thalaivar enjoys spending time with her two sons, Yatra and Linga. She is married to National Award winning actor Dhanush, also the star of her film. Dhanush also sings the Tanglish song Why This Kolaveri Di in the film.
"In fact he's right now my official babysitter. I just give my kids and say Yatra and Linga now its your time and he takes care. He's right now answering all the hundred thousand questions Yatra asks him and they are best buddies. He's enjoying his grandfatherhood," says Aishwarya.
Aishwarya has some good news for millions of the superstar's fans. "I wouldn't know when he's going to resume acting. Right now he's enjoying his time at home with his family and friends and is in great health."
