Amitabh Bachchan learnt the body language of a college professor by maths wizard Anand Kumar for his role of Prabhakar Anand in Prakash Jha's socio-political film Aarakshan.
Some very important people say it was a case of (tongue-in-cheek) 'hijack'.
"You hijacked our Anand, a math wizard, for your Anand in your film Aarakshan," Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar told the filmmaker who called on him at his residence lastevening with the Big B.
"I have the best wishes for the film," Kumar said.
The superstar was lavish in his praise for Anand who set up the Ramanujan School of Mathematics for poor children in 1992 which provides free education, food and accommodation to 30 talented students from underprivileged sections for the IIT-JEE.
Bachchan said he had learnt the nuances of his role by watching videos of Anand teaching his class of 'Super 30'. Anand who missed the opportunity to go to Cambridge in 1994 because of acute financial constraints, in the last nine years tutored 236 students who qualified for the IIT-JEE.
