New Delhi:
Deepika Padukone has been warmly welcomed back home after spending several months abroad filming xXx: The Return of Xander Cage and it seems like her former co-stars are feeling the absence. Vin Diesel, who plays the titular role in Deepika's Hollywood debut, has posted a picture of the 30-year-old actress with his 15-month-old daughter Pauline.
Vin took the selfie while Deepika and Pauline shared a tender moment:
Deepika, who recently completed shooting for the D J Caruso-directed film, has just returned from Madrid where she was attending the IIFA Awards with several Bollywood colleagues.
xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, third in the xXx series, is Deepika's first Hollywood feature film. It also stars Ruby Rose, Tony Jaa, Samuel L Jackson and Nina Dobrev and is slated for a 2017 release.
Meanwhile, Deepika will start shooting for her next Bollywood project in September this year. The film is reportedly Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati but neither director nor actress have provided a confirmation. In Madrid, Deepika dodged Padmavati questions like a boss.
"Why don't you ask Sanjay sir? He is here. He will be able to tell you. I think IIFA was a good platform to announce it. But then I don't know. I can't say anything at the moment. It is up to Sanjay to confirm," Deepika told PTI.
Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhansali previously collaborated on Ram Leela and last year's Bajirao Mastani, both co-starring the actress' rumoured boyfriend Ranveer Singh.
