A new K-drama is ready to enthral fans, it features actor Park Bo-gum and singer IU in the lead.
Titled When Life Gives You Tangerines, the romance drama is set to arrive on Netflix, March 7, 2025.
Earlier today, Netflix dropped the official teaser of the series on Instagram.
From blooming sunflower fields to sandy beaches and persimmon trees, to a bustling local market, the video captures lovely glimpses of Jeju Island.
Park Bo-gum and IU's chemistry steals the show.
They engage in playful banter and spend tender moments. In one segment, Park Bo-gum's character compliments IU.
He says, “Still, you are pretty."
The caption read, “To you, who is still a petal, and still a dream. A life full of adventure between a rebel born in Jeju, Aesun and a brave conscience. March 7th, only on Netflix.”

When Life Gives You Tangerines is directed by Kim Won-seok. He is credited with shows like Misaeng, My Mister and Signal. The series is written by Lim Sang-chun.
IU will play the role of a bold and rebellious Ae Sun. Meanwhile, Park Bo-gum essays the character of Gwan Sik — a quiet but reliable man.
Netflix released the official synopsis of When Life Gives You Tangerines.
It said, “In Jeju, a bold girl and a devoted boy's fated bond blossoms into a lifelong tale of setbacks and triumphs — proving love can endure across generations.”
IU has been a part of television shows such as Persona, My Mister and Hotel del Luna.
Park Bo-gum impressed viewers with his performances in Wonderland, Reply 1988, and Encounter.
