New Delhi:
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have almost wrapped the shooting of Tiger Zinda Hai, which is currently being filmed in Abu Dhabi. Fans and followers have remained updated with the schedule of the movie, courtesy director Ali Abbas Zafar, who has been posting about the film and its stars. His recent post appears to be from when Salman and Katrina took a break while filming or after pack-up on sets. Salman and Katrina share the frame in the picture but are occupied separately - Katrina is busy capturing the sunset while Salman stares into the distance - all of this is etched out in silhouettes. "Tiger watches as Zoya captures Sunset... last few days of shoot," is how Mr Zafar captioned the pic.
If you haven't watched 2012's Ek Tha Tiger, whose sequel is the upcoming movie, Salman plays a RAW agent called Tiger and Katrina features as Pakistani spy Zoya. Both the actors reprise their roles in the second part.
Apart from all the gunfire and Salman-style blockbuster action scenes that are expected, Tiger Zinda Hai also promises a "heavy duty climax," as was tweeted by Mr Zafar. This is what the director tweeted last month: "Last 22 days to go Tiger Zinda Hai, heavy duty climax action to begin from tomorrow, nervous and excitement." Also, there will be "10,000 rounds of fire," be ready.
Kabir Khan, who helmed Ek Tha Tiger, handed over the director's hat to Ali Abbas Zafar for the sequel. However, Paresh Rawal and Angad Bedi join as the new cast members.
Katrina Kaif was last seen in Jagga Jasoos, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor. She also has Aamir Khan's Thugs Of Hindostan in the pipeline. Kabir Khan's Tubelight remains Salman Khan's last film so far.
Produced by Yash Raj Films, Tiger Zinda Hai releases on Christmas.
