Shah Rukh Khan tweeted about treating himself by taking a day off on Friday to watch Darlings, which was released on Netflix on Friday. The film stars Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah and Vijay Varma and is a joint production by Alia's Eternal Sunshine Productions and Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment. Clarifying that his tweet is not an endorsement of any sort, especially since he mentioned he's watching Darlings and drinking Thums Up, the actor wrote that it was just about indulging in his favourite pass time - "the love of my own person."
His tweet read: "Been working the last few days non stop....so needed to indulge in my favourite past time....'the love of my own person' & to pamper myself, will spend the day with Prabhuji / Thums up and #DARLINGS (this is not an endorsement, just 'mees spoilingss mees on a days offs pleaj....')"
Take a look at SRK's post below:
Last month, when Alia shared the trailer of Darlings with an excited message that read: "My first film as a producer." SRK, too, expressed he was anxious about Alia sharing the responsibility of the film with him. He wrote: "Lil one I am also so anxious that u shared the responsibility of Eternal Sunshine Productions first film with me...that I will be biting my nails till it releases. But I feel we have a lovely film and u r the soul and sunshine of all things Darlings."
