Adele, dressed as Jenny, interacts with her lookalikes during the show.
New Delhi:
Oscar-winning singer Adele pulled a prank on her impersonators for a BBC segment in which she turned up for an audition for Adele-lookalikes as Jenny. The 27-year-old singer wore prosthetic nose and chin to make her eyes and lips appear slightly different. This was a part of a special feature Adele at the BBC.
She then queued up with the other 'Adeles' behind the stage and saw the performances while chatting with them. "Can't wait for the new album," said one of the impersonators. "She's taking her time," the real Adele replies with a deeper voice. "Try saying that to her face," another impersonator added. (Also Read: Adele's Hello Breaks Record With 1.1 Million Downloads)
Jenny (the real Adele) then excused herself from the group saying that she isn't feeling well and turned up on the stage. After missing her cue the first time, Adele sang Make You Feel My Love for the spectators, which is when the other 'Adeles' realized that they had in fact been chatting with their idol.
