The list of Allu Arjun's fans also includes Alia Bhatt's family. The Raazi actress recently revealed that her entire family has watched Allu Arjun's Pushpa and they now want her to work with the actor. "My entire family has watched 'Pushpa' and became fans of Allu Arjun. They are asking me when I will get a chance to get paired opposite him. As they call me Aalu at home, they are asking, 'Aalu, when will you work with Allu?' I'm more than glad to jump aboard if I get a chance to work with him," India TV quoted Alia Bhatt as saying. Alia Bhatt's family and friends lovingly call her Aalu.
Sukumar's Pushpa: The Rise released in December 2021 and was declared a hit. Allu Arjun plays the lead, Rashmika Mandanna is seen as the female lead and Fahadh Faasil is the antagonist in the film. Pushpa: The Rise has been produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers in association with Muttamsetty Media. The second part of the film, Pushpa: The Rule is expected to release by end of this year.
This year, Alia Bhatt is also making her South debut with S S Rajamouli's RRR. The film features Ram Charan and Jr NTR in lead roles and Ajay Devgn will be seen in a cameo role. The film will release on March 25.
Apart from RRR, Alia Bhatt is also all set for the release of her much-awaited movie Gangubai Kathiawadi, which will release on February 25. The film is adapted from one of the chapters of Hussain Zaidi's book Mafia Queens of Mumbai. Alia plays a brothel madam in the film.
