London:
Pop star Whitney Houston will be honoured posthumously at Billboard Music Awards as part of a major tribute to the late star.
Organisers of the big event, which will be staged in Las Vegas on May 20, have announced the tragic singer will be
named the recipient of the Billboard Millennium Award at the prize giving, reported Daily Express.
The honour will follow a tribute performed by Houston's co-star Jordin Sparks and singer-songwriter John Legend.
The late star's daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown and her sister-in-law Pat Houston will accept the award. Last year's Millennium Award recipient was Beyonce.
