Tragic singer Whitney Houston's life is getting a big screen treatment with Angela Bassett set to direct a film that will focus on the I'll Always Love You singer's tumultuous relationship with husband Bobby Brown.
Whitney was found dead in the bathtub of her hotel room in February 2012 just before the Grammy awards. She was 48.
Lifetime has given a green signal for the film which will mark Bassett's directorial debut, reported Deadline.
