New Delhi: Musical drama Sparkle, which features singer Whitney Houston in her last movie role, is all set to release in India on December 7.
Sony Pictures India released the first trailer of the movie, a remake of the 1976 original film of the same name.
The film stars Houston, who passed away last month at the age of 48, as the mother of three girls who form a singinggroup and struggles with fame and drug addiction.
The film has been directed by Salim Akil and stars American Idol winner Jordin Sparks, Whitney Houston, Derek Luke, Mike Epps, Carmen Ejogo, Tika Sumpter, Omari Hardwick, CeeLo Green.
