Hollywood actress Whoopi Goldbergwas apparently a nun in her former life, according famouspsychic twins Linda and Terry Jamison.
The 55-year-old star, who won acclaim for her role asa nun in the film Sister Act, was told by the twin sistersthat her character in the film was predestined, reported DailyStar online.
"You actually were a nun in 17th century Germany. Youwere a cloistered nun, so there's a resonance with the SisterAct (film)," said the sisters to Goldberg on a TV show.
While the Oscar winning actress has admitted that therevelation was not a surprise for her as she almost chose theconvent life over the glitz of Hollywood.
"At one point I had thought about becoming a nun,absolutely," said Goldberg.
The actress was seen playing the role of a loungesinger who takes refuge in a convent to escape a mob boss inthe hit 1992 comedy.
