SRK and Gauri were there, Aamir was there, Vidya and the girls were there. Even Priyanka Chopra put the bad blood with Karan Johar behind her to make an appearance at his 40th birthday party. By all accounts, it was the party of the year.
So where, then, was John Abraham?
Conspicuously absent from the festivities, all the more so because Karan was his Dostana producer, John was perhaps the only big star missing from a crowd of faces that included the A-list, the Z-list and everyone in between. We happen to know he was in town, so we have to ask - what earthly reason did he have to be a party pooper?
Could it possibly have been because he wanted to steer clear of any awkward encounters with ex-girlfriend Bipasha Basu, who was at the party looking very fetching in a backless number.
