Mumbai:
Post her last release Housefull 2, Zarine Khan hasn't been seen around much. The actress says she is being very choosy about her next acting venture. And as a result, she hasn't signed a film yet. However, Zarine states that she doesn't regret her decision.
"The audience has been kind enough to give me a second chance and I proved myself in Housefull 2," she said. She has now decided to be more critical and selective in her approach towards her future in Bollywood.
"Several directors are approaching me with their scripts but I need to choose a role I can do justice to and not just anything that comes my way. I'm very happy in my own space and very content with the fact that this industry has accepted me and I finally feel like I fit in," she said.
Kitty love
In the meantime, Zarine has fallen in love but not with a man. Apparently, some neighbourhood cats have occupied her uninterrupted attention. In fact, the actress had 11 cats just a few days ago.
But when a BBM broadcast made the rounds about a homeless kitten, Zarine came to the rescue. She went ahead and contacted the person who was giving away the kitten. Without a second thought, the B-Town newbie adopted the kitten and has now completed what she calls the 'dirty dozen' at home.
A source said, "Zarine has also helped injured and stray cats by taking them to the vet. By that, you can guess how much she adores them. In her free time, you'll find her playing with her pets. She's very affectionate and passionate about animals."
