New Delhi: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, who celebrates his birthday on August 16, has two reasons to rejoice this time. (Also Read: Actor Saif Ali Khan to Lose Padma Award?)
One is the Home Ministry's comment that says there is no move to strip the actor of his Padma Shri award, conferred on him in 2010, in the wake of a Mumbai court framing charges against him for assaulting an NRI businessman at a city hotel. The other is his wife Kareena Kapoor who is planning a lavish birthday party for the Nawab in London where he is currently shooting for Phantom.
Kareena will reportedly be missing from the fanfare around the release of Singham Returns as she has planned a celebration with friends at the 600-year-old Winchester College in Hampshire, England. If that isn't enough, post the celebrations the couple will reportedly jet off to Italy to spend some quality time together.
