Perhaps as a friendly gesture, Basu offered Shiney a role in his forthcoming film,
Barfi. But it seems that the talented actor wanted a bigger chunk of the pie.
In a recent interview he said, "Anurag is like my brother. We had discussed the film, but it was just a casual conversation. He had told me about the part, but we never discussed it again. I have got offers, but nothing has been good enough. I am looking for a good offer and I am in talks with a couple of directors." We think Shiney should have taken up the role; after all, he made his presence felt even in a multi-starrer like Basu's
Life In A Metro.
