Actor Will Smith's son Jaden Smith has become the highest paid child artist in Hollywood after earning a staggering 2 million pounds for The Karate Kid.
The 12-year-old was paid the salary to to star in the movie. It was Jaden's third film but first one opposite actorJackie Chan, reported Mailonline.
Although the movie was released in 2010 when Jaden was 12 he had begun filming at the age of 10. The young actor began his career with a small part in his father's 2006 film The Pursuit Of Happyness.
As well as starring in the film The Karate Kid he also sang the theme song Never Say Never alongside teen superstar Justin Bieber. Jaden's seven figure salary makes him by far the highest paid of any of the young actors.
