New Delhi:
Moviegoers at the multiplex Cineworld in Anglesey were in for an unexpected Royal sighting this weekend. On Saturday Prince William and his new bride Catherine, joined other moviegoers to catch a show of the Hollywood comedy, Bridesmaids.
Anglesey is where the Prince is based as a Royal Air Force search and rescue helicopter pilot. The movie date comes after the couple's much-publicised hectic first official tour of Canada and Los Angeles earlier this month.
Cineworld confirmed the outing in a tweet, posting, "Prince William & Kate Middy saw "Bridesmaids" at Cineworld Llandudno this W'end. Wonder what they made of Kristen Wiigs 'one eyed' impression?"
Cineworld followed up with another tweet: "We're told the royal couple sat with everyone else after discussing whether to see Transformers or Bridesmaids, Kate won I guess."
Moviegoers too posted excitedly on Twitter: "My friend from Uni has just seen Prince William and Kate Middleton in my local cinema," says one tweet.
With an upcoming get-to-know-your-in-laws vacation with the Queen, Prince Philip and other Royals for the Duchess and a hectic tour just behind them, Bridesmaids would surely have provided much-needed succor.
