Mumbai: Filmmaker Karan Johar, who appeared as a special guest on the singing reality show The X-factor, has said he would give break to the winner of the show in one of his movies.
The singing talent show is an adaptation of the successful international showThe X Factor. Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, singers Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal are judging the Indian version of the reality show on Sony entertainment channel.
"Karan was so impressed with the talent on X Factor that he decided to give the winner an opportunity of singing a song in one of his forthcoming movies," a source revealed.
Bhansali and Karan, who had been recently engaged in a verbal duel, came face to face during the show.
Karan, during his chat show `Koffee With Karan', had jokingly talked about the 'blueness' of Bhansali's film Sawaariya with Sonam Kapoor as the guest.
Bhansali hit back, dubbing Karan's chat show as "frivolous" and vowing never to watch it. The Black directoreven advised Karan to learn to respect his fellow filmmakers.
According to sources, "There have been many problems between the two but they met and hugged putting aside theirfight. Both of them spoke for some time (on the sets of X-factor)."
