New Delhi: Actor Rishi Kapoor has often played a musician, or musical instruments, on screen. He was a rockstar (many decades before his son Ranbir) in Karz, had an epic guitar-off with Tariq Khan in Hum Kisise Kum Naheen and sang qawaalis in Amar Akbar Anthony. Turns out, Mr Kapoor's talents aren't limited to celluloid. On throwback Thursday, he tweeted an old picture of the band he was in as a kid, called The Nuts.

What you learnt from reading the above sentence was - Rishi Kapoor used to be in a band and it was called The Nuts.

The Nuts didn't make the big time but Rishi Kapoor got to have a musical career of sorts in Bollywood. Here he is 'playing' multiple instruments in the competition medley in 1977's Hum Kisise Kum Naheen.
 


Rishi Kapoor, 63, was last seen in Kapoor And Sons with Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan.
