The bond between a mother and her daughter is unparalleled. Proving this yet again is interior designer Sussanne Khan, who paid homage to her mother, Zarine Khan with a lovely birthday post on Instagram. Sussanne shared a bunch of pictures in which she features alongside her mother and her extended family on Monday. However, it was the caption that she attached with the pictures that won our hearts. Paying a tribute to her mother's grace and strength, Sussanne wrote, "Strong women don't play victim, they don't make themselves look pitiful, they may have a storm in their hearts, yet their smile will be filled with love and forgiveness. The thing is that they absolutely adore life and realise nothing is worth complaining about."
Addressing her mother, she further added, "My Mummsy… you are the epitome of grace and strength… so grateful for you. Happy happiest birthday Mom…You are my favourite human. We learned all of it from you."
In the photos that Sussanne shared, we caught a glimpse of her sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan, her father, actor Sanjay Khan and sister, jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali.
Sussanne, who was previously married to actor Hrithik Roshan, received a lot of love from her followers for the heartwarming post. Actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra replied to the post with a wish for Zarine Khan. She commented, "Happy birthday Zarine aunty wishing you all in abundance." The entrepreneur often shares photos and videos of her family and loved ones on social media. Previously, she had shared a video of her brother, actor Zayed Khan celebrating his birthday with friends and family. Sharing the video, she wrote, "Ma beautiful Familia…The best, specially talented, creative thinkers, (eccentric sometimes), hilariously funny with once in a while anger outbursts...this amazing group of my people who entertain, cry, laugh and support each other through the madness of life. And I lucked out most coz I have these angels surrounding me nonstop and persistently."

She wrote, "You are my darling little brother who feels like my twin.. having your love and unconditional support through the bad and good in my life has been so crazily epic… Happiest happy birthday To my amazing Zai.. there is NO one else with a power-packed relentless solid heart like yours..."
Hrithik Roshan, too, replied to the post with the comment, "Best man."
Sussanne is the founder of The Charcoal Project. She married Hrithik Roshan in 2000. The couple went their separate ways in 2014 but continue to remain friends as they co-parent their sons.
