Hollywood A-listers Halle Berry and Zac Efron are in talks to star in the much talked about romantic comedy New Year's Eve.
Sex And The City star Sarah Jessica Parker has already signed up for the project, the Hollywood Reporter said.
Efron is reportedly set to play the role of a bike messenger who ends up trying to fulfill New Year's Eve resolutions of Michelle Pfeiffer's character in exchange for tickets to a big party.
Berry may play a caterer who runs into a former flame while Parker is set to be a mother to Abigail Breslin's character, someone who relies too much on her daughter for company.
The film will be directed by Garry Marshall.
Shooting for the project begins on February 1, 2011 in New York with the release date of December 9.
Efron, who recently broke up with his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, is currently involved with the production of The Lucky One while Berry just finished Dark Tide.
