"It is a thriller called Chimera opposite Billy Zane. I have read the script but I am still thinking about it," she said.
New Delhi:
Actress Zarine Khan has revealed of being approached to be a part of author-turned-director Daniel Silva's Chimera, but she is still brooding over the offer.
"I have been offered the film but I am thinking about it," Zarine, who was in New Delhi to launch a cosmetic brand said on Tuesday night.
"It is a thriller called Chimera opposite Billy Zane. I have read the script but I am still thinking about it," she added.
Chimera is said to be based on Silva's bestselling novel The Fallen Angel. There were reports that Zarine has been offered the film, but the actress preferred being tight-lipped about it.
Ever since Zarine Khan made her Bollywood debut with 2010 film Veer, she has chosen a slow and steady path to carve a niche for herself in the film industry. The 28-year-old, who was last seen in Sajid Khan's Housefull 2, says she believes in quality of work rather than quantity.
"I really don't want to be in the race of newcomers, who are just running after the projects. It's not that I haven't been offered films. I have been offered a lot of films after Housefull 2, but I want to take my time and do quality work rather than quantity. Though would take time but I would like to follow it," she said.
