Renee Zellweger has given herconsent to reprise the role of the hapless Bridget in thethird installment of the rom-com series but says she will notput on weight to portray the character.
The 42-year-old actress, who received an Oscar nominationfor her role in the Bridget series, is hesitant to add extrapounds because she is worried about the after effects,reported Daily Mail.
"I had a panic attack with all the specialists talkingabout how bad this is for you long-term, putting on that muchweight in short periods of time," she said.
Insiders say Zellweger is considering wearing a "fatsuit" for the upcoming film.
Although it has not been confirmed that Hugh Grant andColin Firth will return, Oscar winner Firth has revealed someplot earlier.
"I can tell you that Bridget and Mark can't havechildren, I think that's the way it goes on. So then she makesthe huge mistake of going back to Daniel Cleaver (played byHugh Grant) for long enough to get pregnant. And I think hedumps her, and she's left stranded, and guess who comes backto rescue her?" he said.
