After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shed light on their love story in the first three episodes of a Netflix docuseries, the couple in the final episodes, revealed how they felt they were treated differently than other senior members.

Here are the five biggest revelations from the second installment of the docuseries:
  1. Volume two of the show (Episodes 4-6) documents the couple's decision to step back from their roles as senior members working for Queen Elizabeth II. Prince Harry admitted it was his choice to step down as senior royal and leave the UK, not his wife's. “I wonder what would have happened to us had we not got out when we did,” Prince Harry said in one clip, alleging that the couple experienced “institutional gaslighting”. He also alleged that Prince William “bullied him” out of the Royal Family and “traded” stories with the press and his father King Charles II told lies about him and possibly leaked stories to the media.“They were happy to lie to protect my brother. They were never willing to tell the truth to protect us,'' he noted.
  2. In another episode, Meghan Markle teared up over how “hard” she worked to “fit in” before stepping back from her royal duties in January 2020. “I tried so hard,” she said. “That's the piece that's so triggering,” she continued. “Because … it still wasn't good enough, and you still don't fit in.” The Duchess of Sussex also opened up about why her father-in-law, Prince Charles, walked her down the aisle during her 2018 wedding to Prince Harry.
  3. Prince Harry in another episode admitted he misses being part of the Royal Family. "I miss the weird family gatherings when we all get together under one roof for certain times of the year. Being part of the institution meant that I was in the UK, so I miss the UK, I miss my friends … I've lost a few friends in this process as well."
  4. In the sixth episode, Meghan Markle discussed her widely publicized miscarriage in July 2020. "I really wasn't sleeping and the first morning that we woke up in our new home is when I miscarried," she recalled. Meanwhile, Prince Harry blamed the English tabloids for his wife's miscarriage, referring to his wife's legal battle against The Daily Mail in 2019. “I believe my wife suffered a miscarriage because of what the (Daily) Mail did. I watched the whole thing,” he said.
  5. The series ended with the couple breaking down how they “made it to the other side.” “There are times when I've been angry, but I can't be that angry because I genuinely feel that I — and we — are exactly where we're supposed to be,” Prince Harry, said in episode six.
