When brands become extremely popular, they often become subject to imitations. Cheaper and/or lower quality products bearing a close resemblance to their brand name/ logo flood the market. If consumers are not vigilant, they may become victims of these duplicitous scams. Sometimes, the similarities may stem from other reasons too. However, once one notices the difference, it can also be amusing to see the lengths people would go to for these imitations. In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), a person shared a picture of one such 'copy' of a bottle of packaged drinking water.

In the post by Roy (@d10gen3s), we see a bottle with the typical aqua-coloured label associated with the famous brand Bisleri. Instead of this name, the label has the word "Bestie" written on it. Even the choice of font seems to slightly mirror that of the popular bottled water brand. Below that are the words "packaged drinking water" and "1000 ml". In the caption, the X user wrote, "We've reached the end of Bisleri permutations". Here's the picture:
Since being posted on October 22, 2023, the post has received more than 260K views so far. It has sparked a wide range of reactions online. Several have found this Bisleri doppelganger bottle quite funny. Others have shared their own 'look-alikes,' some of which also bear hilarious names. Check out some of the replies to the post below:
"This is epic. By far the best extent to which it could get..." wrote one user
"I have one Bsclari at home And no it's not a typo," another stated
A third claimed, "I am 20 years old and I haven't seen the original Bisleri,"
