15 students suspended for attacking juniors

Ghaziabad: An engineering college here has suspended 15 students when they allegedly attacked their juniors after a cricket match, college authorities said.

DJ Engineering College here has suspended 15 second-year engineering graduates when they assaulted their juniors after they were defeated in a cricket match on Saturday, Chief Executive DD Kaushik said.
     
While an inquiry committee appointed to probe the issue will submit its report within a week, the students will remain suspended till then, he said.
