Ghaziabad:
A four-year-old girl was shot in the stomach near Delhi on Sunday evening, allegedly by two bikers who stole her mother's necklace.
The police say the child, Mishika, was on a bike with her parents when the incident took place. She was seated in front of her father, who was driving.
Two men, also on a bike, allegedly came from behind, snatched Mishika's mother's necklace, and sped off. Her father, Updesh Rai, tried to chase the bikers.
The men then allegedly shot at the family and the bullet hit Mishika in the stomach. She was taken to a hospital and is currently recovering after surgery.
The alleged shooters have not been found.
