Ghaziabad: A 14-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide in the Rajnanagar area of Ghaziabad, after failing in her exams.
The girl, a Class VIII student, hanged herself from the ceiling fan at her residence last night, police said today.
She wrote a suicide note on the wall of her room, which said failing in Maths and Chemistry exams compelled her to commit suicide, Sudhir Tyagi, SHO, Kavinagar said.
The body has been sent for postmortem, he said adding, further probe is on.
