Ghaziabad:
A Delhi Police head constable died in a car accident near Hafizpur area on Monday night, police said today.
The victim, identified as Tujendra Sharma who lived in Gulawathi village in Bulandshahr district, was enroute Delhi from his home last night.
The car he was traveling in was hit by a speeding bus and Mr Sharma died on the spot. Some other passengers in the bus were also injured, police said. The driver of the bus has been arrested.
The body of the policeman was sent for post mortem and a case has been registered against the bus driver, police said.
Injured passengers have been taken to a local hospital for treatment.
