Ghaziabad: A woman Delhi Police constable posted at Tihar Jail was found dead on Thursday on a railway track in Ghaziabad, police said.
Reena Kumar left her home in west Delhi's Janakpuri for office around 6 a.m. and her mutilated body was found in Ghaziabad around 3 p.m., police said.
No suicide note was found from her possession. Her husband Sunil Kumar, also in the Delhi Police, was informed using the phone number on her identity card, police said.
Superintendent of Police (City) Shiv Shankar Yadav said: "Her husband said that she left her home in the morning for Tihar but she could not reach there."
