Ghaziabad:
A 22-year-old youth allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in Loni area here, police said today.
The deceased has been identified as Chaman Singh. No suicide note was recovered from the spot, police said, adding that Singh lived with his family in Panchlock Colony of Loni area.
His body was found hanging from a mango tree in a field this morning. He reportedly had a minor scuffle with his brother's wife over some issue last night, police said.
"As per preliminary investigation, he might have committed suicide after having scuffle with his brother's wife," said Gorakhnath, Station House Officer, Loni police station.
The postmortem report of the deceased is awaited, the SHO added.
