Ghaziabad: There was total chaos as lawyers broke into a fight outside a court in Ghaziabad, just minutes after Nupur and Rajesh Talwar were given the life sentence for murdering their teen daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj.
Lawyers were seen hurling chairs at each other in the surging scrum, some witnesses reported. Some then clashes with the police, said others.
A policeman allegedly clashed with a person standing with the lawyers for Hemraj. This reportedly triggered a fight between lawyers and policemen.
This is the third such incident in this court.
In 2011, Rajesh Talwar was attacked when he was being brought to the court. This led to tighter security for the Talwars.
Last year, an accused was shot at within the court complex, which led to a string of security measures.
