Ghaziabad:
A bull gored a 68-year-old man to death and injured five others in Kotwali area in Ghaziabad on Tuesday, police said.
The incident took place on Tuesday morning at around 6 am, when a local resident Mr Iqbal had gone out for a walk, police said.
"When Mr Iqbal was walking near his house, a bull brutally attacked him. The bull continued to attack Iqbal till he fell unconscious. Three people rushed to rescue Iqbal, but the bull also attacked them. The 3 people have got injuries on their legs and head," said a senior police officer.
The bull also injured an 80-year-old man and a biker by charging at them, he said.
Mr Iqbal was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead on arrival, while the condition of the 80-year-old man is stated to be critical.
The bull was finally caught after several attempts by the Municipal Corporation, the police confirmed.
