Ghaziabad: Ghaziabad Police on Friday said it will soon launch a scheme to ensure protection to witnesses.
Under the witness protection scheme, security of the witnesses would be tightened, SSP Nitin Tiwari told reporters in Ghaziabad.
He said beat constables will remain in constant touch with the witnesses.
If any witness complains of threats, police will take action against the culprit, the SSP said.
