Ghaziabad:
A 35-year-old Uttar Pradesh police sub-inspector was arrested by a team of Delhi Police for allegedly sending pornographic clips to a woman journalist.
Police arrested the accused identified as Vikas Yadav last night.
Taking action against the sub-inspector, Ghaziabad police today suspended him with immediate effect.
According to police, Yadav was booked with Ashok Nagar police station in Delhi. Ghaziabad police officials said that woman had filed a complaint against Vikas Yadav for sending obscene video clips on her mobile phone.
"Accused sub-inspector, who was posted at Brijvihar police post, was arrested by a team of Delhi Police. As the woman has registered a complaint at a Delhi police station, we don't have more information in this regard," said a senior police officer.
