An IAS officer, who was the in charge of Noida when the infamous Nithari killings case surfaced in 2006, has deposed before a CBI Special court saying that an inquiry ordered by him into the case of missing children was "inconclusive".
District Magistrate, Saharanpur, Gaurav Verma appeared before the CBI Special court Judge Shyam Lal here on Wednesday as a witness of CBI, which was handed over the sensational Nithari killings case. Verma, while testifying before the court in the murder case of 10-year-old Pushpa, said he had ordered an inquiry into the 2006 case.
The result of the inquiry conducted was inconclusive, he told the court, according to CBI advocate J P Sharma said. 10-year-old Pushpa, daughter of a rickshaw puller
Sunil Biswas, had gone missing in June 2006.
