Man robbed of Rs 1.85 lakh in broad daylight

Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh): Two motorcycle-borne youths robbed an employee of a private firm of Rs 1.85 lakh at gun point outside a bank at Ambedkar Nagar Road, police said.

Surendra Kumar Sharma, an accountant working with a polythene trader, was robbed at gun point by two youths at noon when he came out of Ambedkar Nagar branch of Punjab National Bank (PNB) carrying Rs 1.85 lakh in cash, the police said.

A case of loot has been registered against two unidentified persons and further investigations are on, they said.
