Ghaziabad: A new-born baby was allegedly stolen from the maternity ward of a government hospital in Ghaziabad, police said on Sunday.
Zeenat, a resident of Sahibabad, was admitted in the MMG hospital yesterday where she had given birth to a male child, SP(city) J K Sahi said, adding, both the mother and the child were kept under the supervision of a nurse and a family member.
Later in the evening, Zeenat's husband Zamil found that the child was missing while his wife was in an unconscious state, Sahi said.
