Ghaziabad:
A newly-wed woman was accidentally shot dead by her father-in-law in Niwari town in Ghaziabad, police said today.
Priti (20) was shot at by her father-in-law Ombir accidentally at their house while he was cleaning his gun, they said.
She was rushed to a local hospital where she was declared brought dead.
Priti's parents, however, have cried foul over the matter, alleging that she was murdered by her in-laws, police said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem and the police is waiting for the reports to initiate further probe.
