Ghaziabad:
A relative of a nine-year-old boy was arrested for allegedly kidnapping the child, who was rescued from a flat in Delhi, police said on Tuesday.
Sarfraz, a Class III student was abducted on Sunday from near his house in Maharajpur in Ghaziabad and the kidnappers had demanded a ransom of Rs 5 lakh, City SP J K Shahi said.
An uncle of the boy, Shahid was arrested on Monday, who revealed the location of the boy after interrogation, they said.
The boy was found unconscious as he had been administered a drug.
Other accused including a woman, allegedly a lover of the boy's father are absconding, they added.
