Ghaziabad:
A software engineer was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Simbhawli area on Friday, around 80 km from Ghaziabad.
27-year-old Dinesh Kumar was shot dead by the assailants in the morning hours while returning from his village, police said.
In another incident, a 60-year-old man was shot dead by robbers while attempting to loot his house in Dhaulana town.
Police have registered murder cases in connection with both the incidents.
