Ghaziabad:
Two children were killed on Tuesday and two adults injured when a speeding truck hit them in Sahibabad area, police said.
Sufiyan and Shahid were going to Garima Garden colony with their teacher and his friend Chand when the truck hit them, police said. While the children died on the spot, the other two were seriously injured, they said.
After the incident, locals protested and blocked a road. They dispersed only after assurances by the police and administration.
A case has been registered and efforts are on to trace the accused, who has fled, police said, adding that the truck has been impounded.
