Two women arrested for dacoity

Ghaziabad: Two women were arrested for their alleged involvement in a dacoity at a house of a milk trader in Babugarh area, police said here on Thursday. The women- Rehana and Babita had been arrested on Wednesday. The women and their three accomplices in Febraury plotted the  dacoity plan.

The two women entered the milk trader's house seeking shelter from the rain. They later called their armed accomplices in the absence of the housewife to the house, Superintendent of Police (Rural)

Ajay Kumar Mishra said "The gang allegedly looted Rs 2.50 lakh cash, ornaments worth of Rs 5 lakh and a rifle from the house and later escaped.

The police have recovered the booty from their possession. The women arrested by the Special Operation Group (SOG), disclosed names of their three accomplices Yunus, Pawan and Nitu, who have been arrested in other dacoity cases in Haryana in the past.  
Mishra said that culprits shall be brought to Ghaziabad on transit remand for investigation soon
