Ghaziabad:
A person, along with one of his associates, was arrested for allegedly trying to kill his wife in Khram Pur village of the Muradnagar area in Ghaziabad, police said on Tuesday.
Ravinder and Joginder were arrested on Monday and produced in a local court in Ghaziabad, which sent them to 14-days in police custody.
20-year-old Pooja was brutally attacked by her husband and three of his friends in the night of July 3. The four men left thinking she had died, police said.
However, the next morning she was spotted by a person and was rushed to a hospital, A K Mishra Superintendent of Police (rural) said.
She survived the attack and is recovering in a hospital, he added.
