An eleven-year-old girl was allegedly raped at South Goa's Colva beach, police said on Wednesday.
As per the complaint filed with the police, the minor was waiting for a bus along with her elder sister in Margao town on Tuesday night where they met the accused.
He lured both the sisters to the beach for a stroll.
The girl told the police that her elder sister went away with her friend for a while, following which the accused assaulted her sexually on the beach.
The accused, in his twenties, is on the run after the incident, police said adding further investigations are on.
